New Research Shows Promise for Nutrition-Based Solutions to Poultry Production Challenges
Novus to present nine new pieces of nutrition research at IPSF in Atlanta, Georgia.
ST. LOUIS (Jan.26,2017)—Alongside the brightest minds in poultry, Novus is set to present research results on nine key areas of poultry nutrition at the International Poultry Scientific Forum. The annual event precedes the International Production and Processing Expo in Atlanta, Georgia this week.
Novus research scientists will deliver a combination of oral and poster presentations focusing on alleviating common poultry production challenges with nutritional intervention. Dr. Mercedes Vazquez-Anon, Senior Director of Animal Nutrition and Facilities at Novus, states “Now, more than ever, Novus research is focused on connecting with relevant partners such as universities, genetics companies, and commercial operations to understand the impact of nutrition on various production challenges along the poultry supply chain. What we have found, is that nutrition is becoming an ever-more-valuable instrument as traditional tools are being phased-out, such as the use of antibiotics and high levels of zinc oxide.”
Novus-submitted research will be presented according to the following schedule:
Monday, January 30, 2017
Pathology, Room B312
10:45 a.m. - M36, Presented by: Juxing Chen, Effects of Eimeria challenge and feed outage on growth performance and gut health of broilers
