FORMYCINE Gold Px preservative pre-mix is used to control and kill harmful contaminants in raw materials and finished feed. This helps to prevent the harmful effects of animal disease, and can lead to a faster recovery from outbreaks.
FORMYCINE Gold PX is a combination of formaldehyde and propionic acid and is embedded in a micronized dry carrier, thus reducing volatilization and improving product stability. This results in a potent antimicrobial activity even at low inclusion rates. FORMYCINEGold PX helps to control the risk of pathogen contamination all along the food chain, starting with rendering/ingredient manufacture, feed mills and poultry houses. Its unique formulation makes it easy to handle, as well as safe for the operators and the livestock when following the instructions described in the safety data sheet. Moreover, it is not susceptible to bacterial resistance and does not generate residues in tissues. Its wide-spectrum of effectiveness helps to control harmful contaminants that may otherwise reduce animal performance.
Bentonite is used as carrier of Formaldehyde in FORMYCINE Gold Px. Due to its small particle size, it allows for high dispersion of formaldehyde. Addtionally, it has high capacity of retaining molecules: allowing lower amount of formaldehyde in the product and high anti bacterial effectiveness.
