Feeding sows with MINTREX has a positive effect on the offspring through the modulation of the expression of genes, helping the piglet reach its weaning under better conditions
BRUSSELS (December 5th, 2018) – As a leader in swine nutrition, Novus International, Inc. has hosted a European Swine Nutrition Roundtable in Barcelona, November, 27-28, bringing together European pig industry’s leading experts to share knowledge and learn opportunities in swine production.
Brussels, Belgium (November 30th, 2018). Two seminars on the latest scientific research on MINTREX have been hosted by Novus at Eurotier. The aim was to reinforce the benefits of its exclusive bis-chelate molecule and to show the latest research of the “MINTREX Reduce and Replace” strategy. These seminars brought together experts from Europe to discuss the various challenges facing hyperprolific sows and high performing broiler breeders.
“Trace mineral maternal supplementation in the form of MINTREX offers the opportunity to improve the structural health and reproductive performance, the development of the piglet and productivity of the growing pig” Mercedes Vazquez-Anon, Senior Director of Animal Nutrition and Facilities at Novus International
Peter Kappel Theil, Sr. Researcher, Department of Animal Science – Molecular Nutrition and Reproduction from the University in Aarhus, Denmark: Amino acids requirements in hyper-prolific sows. In this presentation Peter Kappel Theil is sharing high level information on how amino acid requirements during lactation are grossly determined by the milk yield and how two component feeding (partly uncoupling of energy and amino acids) is a promising approach to minimize body mobilization and increase milk yield while lowering feed costs.
Brussels, Belgium (November 10th, 2018) Novus International, Inc. is exhibiting at EuroTier 2018, the world’s leading trade fair for animal production. The exhibition takes place in Hannover, Germany from November 13-16, bringing together animal production professionals from all over the world.
