Novus presents new data from a one-year commercial trial showing that sows fed MINTREX® chelated trace minerals had more piglets per sow lifetime associated with improved longevity, and improvements in reproductive efficiency compared with sows fed only inorganic trace minerals.

These results were recently presented during the Annual Meeting of American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV).

MINTREX® Zn, Cu and Mn are bis-chelated organic trace minerals, meaning that one mineral atom bound by coordinate covalent bonds to two molecules of hydroxy analogue of methionine (HMTBa).
