Longevity in sows

The solution to improve sow productivity

One of the biggest challenges for pig producers is to maximize the number of piglets weaned per sow per year. Today's sows have very high production rates and, thus, higher nutritional requirements, with trace minerals being essential nutrients for numerous metabolic processes.

In this sense, recent Novus studies have shown that the use of MINTREX® bis-chelated trace minerals in the diet of breeding sows improves their longevity and retention rate by up to 12% and contributes to piglets born with greater vitality and homogeneity of live weight. All these are key parameters in the sow's amortization.
