Novus Food Drive KICK-OFF 2014
WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME! To the 2014 Novus Food Drive! We are so excited to be a part of such an amazing opportunity, put on by the St. Louis Area Foodbank, to help local kids find Freedom from Summer Hunger. Today, Novus HQ employees received a lunch bag at their desk with information about the 2014 Novus Food Drive, along with a letter of support from our CEO Francois Fraudeau.
The St. Louis Area Foodbank recently reported that for 1 in 8 people in the St. Louis area, hunger is a reality. During the summer months when children do not have access to school meals, the hunger only escalates.
THEREFORE:
OUR GOAL is to donate 30,000 lbs. of food to the St. Louis Area Foodbank between May 27th and June 13th.
The St. Louis Area Foodbank needs your help!
· How can I help?
o You can donate non-perishable food items OR donate through cash contributions.
o Which is more helpful? Due to the purchasing power and not-for-profit status of the St. Louis Area Foodbank, cash contributions are actually MORE impactful than food purchased at retail prices.
· Where can I donate?
o Red donation barrels will be located in the research wing and on the 1st and 2nd floors near the stairwell.
