NOVUS Recognized with Union Pacific Pinnacle Award for Rail Safety Excellence
CHESTERFIELD, MO (May 1, 2026) Novus International Holdings, L.L.C., which represents the Methionine Business at NOVUS, recently received Union Pacific’s Pinnacle Award for Safely Shipping Hazardous Materials.
Union Pacific Railroad awarded the annual recognition to 138 companies this year. According to the April 27 announcement, the award recognizes partners who demonstrate a strong dedication and commitment to safely transporting chemicals by rail.
NOVUS transports both raw materials and finished product on Union Pacific rail lines, with NOVUS-owed railcars moving from manufacturing facilities in Texas to distribution centers throughout the United States. These sites support reliability in the company’s supply chain for customers across the U.S. animal agriculture industry.
Safety is embedded in every step of the transportation process at NOVUS. Colleagues and manufacturing partners complete annual training focused on safe handling and transportation procedures. Railcars are routinely inspected to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
