NOVUS: New Sales Manager Reaching Customers in Southeast Brazil
São Paulo, BRAZIL (June 10, 2025) – Lucas Bueno de Barros is supporting animal agriculture customers in southeast Brazil and north of Parana province as NOVUS’ new sales manager.
Barros joined the leader in intelligent nutrition to share his veterinary expertise and optimize the health and performance of poultry and pigs in São Paulo. He is also fostering partnerships with premixers in the region.
Barros says he was destined for a career in agriculture. “I was brought up in this environment from a very young age,” he says. “I have always had a passion for it and couldn’t see myself going any other way than animal production.”
Barros started his career with Ad’oro SA as a veterinary sanitarian. He was responsible for the company’s poultry flock from hatch to processing. He also served as technical manager. As a sales executive with ADM, Barros was responsible for feed additive and premix sales throughout Brazil.
Rodrigo Bernardi, NOVUS regional business manager for Brazil, says customers will benefit from Barros’ extensive experience and education as a veterinarian.
“His background in animal production gives him an advantage in identifying customer needs and offering customized solutions,” Bernardi says. “Lucas is working to create lasting partnerships aimed at helping chickens and pigs reach their full potential.”
Barros earned his degrees in zootechnics from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and veterinary medicine from the University of Marilia (UNIMAR).
