Our Impact

At Novus International, we believe that delivering animal nutrition and health solutions means acting responsibly for animals, people and the planet. Guided by our Intelligent Nutrition approach, we apply science, insight and innovation to support more efficient, resilient and sustainable food systems.

Our science‑driven business is grounded in integrity and sustainability, and these values guide our operations, our innovation and our partnerships every day.

Our Three Focus Areas

We have categorized our material sustainability priorities into three focus areas to guide action, transparency and progress reporting.

1. Healthier Animals | Healthier Planet

We support more sustainable animal protein production by advancing animal performance, improving resource-use efficiency and driving product innovation. Our commitments include:

  • Validate product use case efficiency for methionine, mineral, and enzyme solutions by the end of 2026, using robust scientific methods.
  • Conduct Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs) for NOVUS products representing 90% of total revenue by the end of 2026.
  • Incorporate sustainability use case considerations into the innovation and product development pipeline by 2030.

2. Responsible Business Operations

We are committed to operating ethically, safely, transparently and resiliently across our global footprint. Our commitments include:

  • Complete and disclose Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, waste, and water operating baselines for Novus International manufacturing sites by the end of 2026 and establish environmental reduction targets based on those results.
  • Implement Supplier Code of Conduct across 100% of tier 1 supplier agreements and qualification procedures by the end of 2026: including emissions reporting expectations.

3. Inspired and Inclusive Workforce

Our people power our impact. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion, development and engagement.

  • Establish a cross-functional Sustainability Team in 2025 with representation from commercial, procurement, operations, human resources, regulatory, marketing and finance, and implement a full governance structure by the end of 2026.
  • Establish and publish key policies, including Human Rights and Human Capital Management policies to enhance transparency around our people practices.
