Felipe has over 30 years of experience in animal production, particularly in balanced feed production and animal nutrition. At NOVUS, he supports customers in Colombia with strategies designed to help them to get more from their animals. Through cross-functional collaboration, he links the commercial and technical services teams to deliver solutions that support company and customer growth. His career at NOVUS includes winning two internal awards and helping to align the business strategy in Latin America.
Felipe’s career started at international feed company Agribrands Purina where he worked in aquaculture, then equine, dairy and meat livestock before moving to Ralston Purina where he spent several years as a sales manager in the pet sector. At Italcol S.A., he managed distributor relations before moving to overseeing feed mill operations (poultry and pasture). He also has experience in raw materials acquisition and executing field trials.
At the National University of Colombia, Palmira (Valle del Cauca), he specialized in applied animal nutrition and earned a zootechnician title.
He is a member of the Colombian Association of Veterinarians and Zootechnicians Specialized in Poultry (AMEVEA) and the Professional Council of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of Colombia (Convezcol).
He speaks Spanish and English.
