Ruminant Nutrition Research Specialist
Research and Development, Novus International
Role Knowledge: Ruminant nutrition, physiology and management, with knowledge in feed formulation and manufacturing. Good understanding of experimental animal model designs and statistics. Knowledge of technical writing, ability to publish in peer reviewed journals and to orally communicate results to other scientists and non- technical staff is required. Good understanding of current issues in rumen metabolism and physiology.
Role Definition: This role is vital to advancing the understanding of current and future products and programs within the company, and more specifically within the ruminant species globally. Conduct ruminant research within Novus platforms, test new products and technologies and generate supporting data of existing products that provide measurable customer value. Responsible for implementing ruminant research studies at Novus’ facilities. Be a subject matter expert in the field, scientific community and Novus leadership group.
Reporting structure: Reports to Ruminant Research Scientist
Travel time: Approximately 15 %
Compensation: In accordance with experience.
