Sales Specialist France

The Sales Specialist is responsible for managing the sales of Novus Europe in France and executing the business strategy at the customer level by enabling customer success and optimizing volume, revenue, and value-add growth for Novus Europe.

Reporting to the Country Manager France, you will manage and develop the relationships with our existing customers and identify new opportunities and new segments.

The position will be home office based in France (ideally in Brittany).

The responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities within the sales territory to close new business and achieve sales goals.
  • Cultivate a network of relationships across the value chain and within the customer organization to develop new business.
  • Proactively develop and document appropriate level of account plans for accounts within territory.
  • Collaborate with internal resources.
  • Develop market / customer insight and identifies growth opportunities via customer and territory analysis and collaboration with internal / external partners.
  • Contribute to Novus marketing plan in coordination with the Regional Area Management.
  • Accomplish specific responsibilities for EMEA or Worldwide assigned projects.
  • Follow up payment by customers together with the France country manager and the France Sales correspondent.

The profile:

  • Preferably technical background (Veterinarian/ Agronomist or high degree in animal nutrition.) with solid/verifiable commercial experience in feed additive specialty sales / Relevant animal nutrition and technical experience, specifically in Monogastrics.
  • Experience with developing and executing sales strategies and with understanding and optimizing local business and commercial skills to focus, execute and direct sales activities in the area.
  • Good management of personal time allocation, autonomous.
  • English.
  • Availability to travel locally and occasionally internationally.
