Marisol Castillo, DVM, Ph.D.
Senior Manager - Global Swine Solutions
From piglets to grow/finish and all the sows in between, Dr. Castillo cares deeply about the health and well-being of swine. In this role, she coordinates the efforts of the R&D, Technical Services and Strategic Marketing teams to develop comprehensive, engaging content that helps drive understanding and use of NOVUS solutions around the world.
Prior to this position she served as Senior Technical Services Manager and R&D Coordinator for NOVUS Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Swine Strategic Marketing Manager for EMEA.
Dr. Castillo has multiple degrees including doctorates in Animal Nutrition and Animal Production from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) where she also earned her master’s degree in Animal Production and her veterinary license. She also has a post-graduate degree in accounting and finance from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain).
She is an active member of the Cluster of Spanish Pork Producers.
