Poultry and Swine Expert Joins NOVUS Team in Brazil
SAO PAULO, BRAZIL (10/02/2023) – Nilo Machado Costa has joined Novus International as regional sales manager in Brazil. At the intelligent nutrition company, Costa will support poultry and swine customers in the State of Minas Gerais and countries in the Midwest region.

Mr. Costa brings over 30 years of experience to NOVUS. His expertise includes poultry gut health, swine and poultry research trial design and execution, and swine lifetime health and farm management. As regional sales manager, he’ll be accountable for implementing the sales strategy as well as creating and maintaining business partnerships with key NOVUS customers.
He says variety is what he enjoys most about his career in the industry.

Prior to joining NOVUS, Mr. Costa served as a monogastric sales manager at Kemin Industries working with broilers and layers as well as swine production in Minas Gerais. He was also a sales manager and technical consultant at Elanco Animal Health Incorporated. He started his career at Fatec Indústria de Nutrição e Saúde Animal Ltda, a premix company.
